Swing on by Saturday for Free Comic Book Day where we’ll be hanging out and signing copies.
Tuesday: We are shooting the very last scene of Alpha Girls at North 3rd and hosting Fancy Pants Cinema. Fancy pants is sort of a open mic for films. Bring your short film by and we’ll play it. Seriously. 11:00 PM
Wednesday: DOGS of Mars is getting it’s major release through Image Comics. Find it at your local comic shop. i09 says it’s groovy.
Thursday: Southwork has an out of town show in Washington DC. It’s at a great venue called The Rock and Roll Hotel. Doors open at 8:30. I assure a ridiculous show. I’m trying out my new bow tie so it should be an interesting experiment.
Friday: The official release of the Alpha Girls trailer is playing at the Troc. It’s the opening act to Masters of the Universe. Geekadelphia is hosting which is going to make it even better. Prizes for best Cosplay and Gong Show Karaoke featuring Skelator. Free admission if you tell the door guy you think I’m cooler than Zito. Seriously. 21+
Saturday: Free Comic Book Day! I’m going to be signing books and doodling comics with Zito and Christine Larsen at Brave New Worlds. I’m going to be spinning some science fiction records.
Sunday: Broad Street Run! North Philly to South Philly. I plan on coming in first*.
Hope to see everyone at everything. I’ll be posting pics on here for everyone keeping score at home.

Hey you @Comixology users! A new issue of DOGS of Mars comes out today. Things are heating up.
Got to bust out a cover for Dogs of Mars. I haven’t been doing the single issue covers but I got to rock the potential trade cover. This is the first cover I’ve done since 2008’s Aqua Leung.
Read some Dogs of Mars over heeeere. Look for issue 3 in the near future too as I begin work on issue 4!
Paul is working on a collected cover for DOGS of Mars. We’re hoping to get some use out of it when this puppy (pun intended) goes to print. In the meanwhile it’s very pretty and you should take some time to admire it and then read this interview with Paul Maybury over at the Strange Kids’ Club.

The first issue is free, but man, issue 2 makes it look shrimpy. I wrapped up issue 3 not long ago and it’s the best comic I’ve ever drawn. Please give issue 2 a chance.
