THIS WEEK
Tuesday: We are shooting the very last scene of Alpha Girls at North 3rd and hosting Fancy Pants Cinema. Fancy pants is sort of a open mic for films. Bring your short film by and we’ll play it. Seriously. 11:00 PM
Wednesday: DOGS of Mars is getting it’s major release through Image Comics. Find it at your local comic shop. i09 says it’s groovy.
Thursday: Southwork has an out of town show in Washington DC. It’s at a great venue called The Rock and Roll Hotel. Doors open at 8:30. I assure a ridiculous show. I’m trying out my new bow tie so it should be an interesting experiment.
Friday: The official release of the Alpha Girls trailer is playing at the Troc. It’s the opening act to Masters of the Universe. Geekadelphia is hosting which is going to make it even better. Prizes for best Cosplay and Gong Show Karaoke featuring Skelator. Free admission if you tell the door guy you think I’m cooler than Zito. Seriously. 21+
Saturday: Free Comic Book Day! I’m going to be signing books and doodling comics with Zito and Christine Larsen at Brave New Worlds. I’m going to be spinning some science fiction records.
Sunday: Broad Street Run! North Philly to South Philly. I plan on coming in first*.
